I view mucus as a good thing,colon trying to defend itself.
If you dont see a lot of mucus a few reasons,healed dont need much,goblet cells depleted/dead/under nurished,bacteria eating it, bacteria degrading enzymes destroying it.
Did you know with a normal colon and mucus the outside of a stool is sterile,but of course if you break through the thin mucus barrier then full of bacteria. I have lots of stuff posted on mucus.
