Pentasa question

Just got this scripted to me and will start it when it comes in...In the meantime, what info do you have?  opinions etc.  currently I am taking cortifoam and salafolk suppositories which is keeping it at bay but not putting me in remission which is always the case, thus the change in meds.

he recommended this in replacement of my suppositories, they are 1 g pentasa suppository.

I guess it depends on dose you were on before. I use the 1g pentasa enema, apart from wind they are ok, I'd prefer supps because I seem to have trouble administering the enema, plus they cause brief urgency the supps never did. Two seconds has now turned into a half hour production. Then you have to remain in bed. I don't always go to bed at the same time my husband does so russling around in the toilet while he's trying to sleep doesn't make me popular. I have to use them before and lay on lounge. It's a pain in the butt for me :/ sure beats being sick though.
