Does carbon monoxide cause lung cancer? (probably a dumb question but...)
Have there been studies on UC+smoking that suggest other delivery methods that may avoid cancer? I wonder if there's a way to deliver CO directly to the colon?
I am a never-smoker who tried nicotine patches per my GI suggestion (made me sick as a dog) and also tried e-cigs which did nothing for my UC. Both of these were a couple years ago.
It's an interesting concept of something bad for you also being good for you. Kind of the way they say a glass of wine a day=good but too much alcohol=bad.
edit to add: my wonderful MIL died of lung cancer. She hadn't smoked in 30+ years and they did not think her type of cancer was smoking related. It is not a good way to die.
