I'm looking for information on chick pea flour specifically. I've used it several times the best so far was battered cod fillets yum. I didn't have any unpleasant side affects but I'm reaching out to ask you all if you have
used it and what you can share about
it.

I used it as part of an egg-free recipe for French toast. Yum!
No problems with it. I should get some more.

I have a recipe for crepe/wrap using chick pea flour that I would like to try. It has been part if items my son has successfully eaten, like gluten/dairy free pizza so I am eager to try it some more.

If looking into GF flours, i wouldn't suggest bean flours, only because they tend to have an aftertaste, and may make you gassy.
Coconut flour, or the Better Batter GF flour is my choice favorite.

Chick pea is one of several beans that have Resistant Starch which is the diet I am on currently because it is shown to treat UC by fixing the damaged flora so that we process fiber like we used to.
Lots of mouse studies and one human study.

I found that using butter and honey gives the flour a really nice taste. Here is the site I shop at lots of great products for our needs, and they are really helpful and informative. They are situated in New York but the shipping is still pretty fast for living as far north as I do.

I appreciate the insight it makes me feel much more confident about
featuring chick pea flour in my cookbook.
I am a new author but an avid cook and writer so your help and opinions have been invaluable.
Would any of you happen to use buttermilk. If so what affects have you noticed etc

A very popular Thai restaurant I enjoy makes a fried onion appetizer that is coated in chick pea flour. Very tasty

"Lots of mouse studies and one human study."
I was just imagining a bunch of mice running around covered in chick pea flour. :)

I love me some beans and eat them every single day. I find that in recipes where I use bean flour I need to make sure the are long baking/cooking to get rid of any bean aftertaste.
