Another question about Colitis.

I am starting to have stomach pain. This is something new to me. Wasn't sure if this was normal/just came along with the Colitis or if this something I should be addressing with my doctor. Most of the time I feel constipated. I feel like I have to go but nothing comes out.

Might be tenesmus which means you may need rectal meds if you're not already on them...it's a terrible feeling.

sounds like your flaring and in need of rectal enemas and a foam like cortifoam for day use.

I agree with the others about rectal meds but I noticed I had pain when I was suffering from a flare up of pancolitis more so than I did when I was flaring with proctitis. When I was dealing with mild proctitis, I didn't have pain, just a bit of blood, tenesmus and the occasional explosion. I guess I was lucky mine was mild. Have you had a scope recently to see what's going on?
