Nauseous all the time

I've been quite nauseous a lot. It doesn't matter if I eat or not. I have the feeling I will throw up.

I'm currently taking Uceris, Imuran, Colazal and Apriso.

In Germany I got a drug called MCP. It came in fluid form and it was instant relief. I saw on the internet that it might be here too just as pill form. Should I ask my GI about it? What nausea meds are you guys taking?

Is there any tea which might bring some relief or something over the counter until I can ask my GI?

Zofran is what i take for nausea and it works amazingly. Ive tried teas but adding all he extra liquid can make my gut feel worse.

With UC we have to be on a lot of drugs that can cause dizziness, nausea etc... Drink plenty of water and get your blood work taken regularly.

At what time are you taking your Imuran? That medication made me nauseous so I started to take it with a small meal just before bed and that helped.

Is Zofran a prescription drug?

I feel the same like Joanna - too much fluids will make it worse. Not sure why.

I take an over the counter b6 supplement that helps with my nausea a lot. Seeing as prescriptions and teas have no affect except making me feel worse.

Yes Zofran is a prescription drug and I'm sure your GI guy will prescribe it for you if you ask him/her. It worked wonders for me too when I had a nausea problem until I got used to the high Imuran dosage.  I take 250mg of Imuran at night before bedtime with a small snack and it seems to help control the nausea.

Both Imuran and 6mp made me feel nauseous 24/7.

I bought some Ginger tea today and I will have to see how it works. If it won't help I will have to give my GI a call. I just think I'm annoying him because I'm calling him so often lately.

The Imuran is taking its toll on me as well Andrina. I have random bouts of nauseousness throughout the day. Im think of splitting my dose (50mg in morning and 50 at night). Hopefully it helps.

Let me know how that works for you Cat because I'm thinking of doing the same.

Right now I changed my schedule from 10 am to evening but I was nauseous all the time. The ginger seemes to make a difference - thanks soystud.
