Paleo, for me ( there are some variations of this too), means: lots of grass-fed animal products: eggs, beef, lamb, chicken, bison, also wild fish such as salmon, lobster, shrimp, herring, + salads, veggies, low fructose fruits, BUT no grains, no legumes, no nightshades, no dairy. I do have an occasional plate of potatoes with lots of butter ( for a meal) by itself. BTW, butter is good for the colon.Pistachios and cashews in moderation. Nut butters such as almond, macademia butters are good, BUT not peanut butter as it is derived from a legume. I drink lots of filtered water all day long. Oh, and on Paleo dark chocolate is allowed!
