I have had sciatica among other stuff since I was seventeen. My uc didn't start until I was 32, now I get more hip pain, then sciatica, for instance sleeping on my back bothers my hips eventual
Ly. My comes and goes, lasting a week at the most, but sometimes I can barely walk. I would be more concerned if it hadn't bee going on for 25 years. Anyway stretching and exercise definetly help me, but I am out of shape now. I know there was joint swelling on a CT I had done. How old are you?
I an 27 and have crohn's disease and I know the person who started this thread said she had pain on her left side, but my pain is only on my right side. Long story short, like a lot of you guys here, stretching was the only thing that actually got rid of my pain. Everything else just masked it. This website gave me awesome http://lowerrightbackpainhq.net/sciatica-stretches because there were videos and descript
ions. Does anyone else recommend anything?
Oh, and yoga helped a lot too!
