I'm so screwed

Took my last prep packet around 815pm. Still pooping brown liquid not to mention I've been puking after every bm since 1115pm. It's the new prepopik brand. I have never been this thirsty in my life. I'm shaking and cramping. Will I need to stay in the hospital if they can't scope me? Oh and one more thing, I have to lean far right for poop to come out?! Blockage or something. This has been the longest night ever and my anxiety is through the roof. Kind words only please I'm at my breaking point.

I hope you are getting answers and that maybe they give you xanax for the anxiety! Like soystud said in a diif thread "stress is the last thing we need"! Keep us posted!

Just got back. Here's what happened. They were worried about my dehydration so gave me 2 iv bags. That helped a lot.. I was in bad shape. Then the scope. Luckily even though I was still having brown liquid it went fine. He told me I now have Chrohns. He wrote me a prescription for 6mp. Then he told me something I didn't want to hear: to go back up to 35mg of pred while the 6mp takes its time to work. I was so ready to be off pred. I have no knowledge of Chrohns and no knowledge of 6mp. It's 75mg. If anyone can give me a heads up of what to expect side effects-wise and how good it works I would be greatful. One last thing.. The nurse suggested for some reason I take pred all at night?? I found that odd but maybe it will keep the d down at night. Any input from y'all is more than appreciated. Thanks for listening. (Also I feel sick a few hours after taking pred so maybe that will help).

ugh, sorry to hear that. Glad you are done with the c-scope though and the iv's made you feel better. I have not been on the 6-mp, so I can not answer that one, but I am sure if you do a search either here or on the Crohn's thread you will find plenty of info. I am just glad it is over for you and you are feeling better. i hate the prep for those c-scopes....they make you feel soooooo much worse. Hang in there, I am sure someone will come along to answer your questions.

Sorry to hear you have to go back on the pred. But yea taking at night usually not a good idea.
