"Bottom line: If someone told me that all they did was cut out gluten and got better I'd believe them."
If someone I can see on a forum or in real life tells me that, you can believe them.
"If you take testimonials from at the end of the books, f... that crap."
I'd like to see 1 BOOK that would have a negative comment written in the book about
something in the book not working, or stating that the book is "fake".
You won't find anything like that, it would be detrimental to the book obviously, yet, people that have tried SCD with no success exists. Now, I have the book and read multiple times, never in the facking book does she say, look, this is one way, it might not work for you but at least you can try. No, those FACKING books, are all about
, this is the WAY, guaranteed, and they post a few testimonials at the back to back themselves.
F... them! I should write a book if I get in remission and what I did. And man, I'd tell you at every chapter that it might not work for you.
How come there is no books called "I had surgery and cured my UC". There are people out there that the surgery was such a success they are the same as before being sick.
Fair is fair, one got cured or remission with diet, one with surgery. Why isn't there a book like that. We know those with diet mods, some have success and some not so, and the same for surgery, some have success and some not so.
All these books that are available for this subject, all build up hope, only to have your hopes crushed when it doesn't work. This is why doctors adher to meds, at least those have scientific backing and trials that show it does work in some "IN SOME".
