wheeeee here comes the prednisone roller coaster!

Here I am on Day 3 and I've already got nervous twitches and anxiety, notwithstanding the amitriptylene I just took.

I'm low on xanax but I better pop one.

*sigh*

No, I dropped Uceris after bravely sticking it out for two weeks. I'll revise my sig to make that more clear. It appears to me that Uceris was effective only in the respect that it solidified my stool -- unfortunately for me, it did not move my stool and so for almost two weeks I was evacuating blood and mucus almost exclusively, putting me now in the unenviable position of having to try to gauge whether a laxative would help or harm. It helped on Tuesday & Wednesday and I think maybe I'll try it one last time tomorrow to be sure I'm not impacted -- I haven't yet seen "normal" stool but only smallish, hard pieces.

Elvis's downfall was his fear of insomnia. I don't want mine to be fear of constipation, but I do feel like this is the worst case scenario.

She asked because my sig indicated the start date for each but did not say that I stopped the Uceris and they are not drugs to be prescribed simultaneously.

I was taking them together too but I was tapering pred at that time.

Oh okay. When i started uceris i was at 30 mg i believe and im tapering my prednisone dose now. Today was my last day at 10 mg soon i will be off prednisone :)

does pred have liver related side effect??? coz my GI adviced me to do liver functioning test after every 21 days.

I'm no doctor but certain medications can cause elevated liver enzymes
