Remicade and Skin Rash

I saw my GI yesterday, and it looks like I'm going to double the dose and have it more often. She was a little taken aback at how long the infusion is taking and says it should really take just about two hours. She's going to look into it.

I've got a blistery rash on my lower legs, which she says is pustular psoriasis, a side effect of the drug. It's mild, but apparently it can get out of hand. Anyone ever have to deal with this?

There are a couple of threads in the archives, but no one seemed to get resolution aside from stopping Remicade. Anyone have this and had it resolve?

about four to five hours. The fastest was about three to four hours, I think.

A little while ago, I asked everyone here if doubling the dose would increase the amount of time it took. I asked my doc about that, too. She said they run the double dose faster. Theoretically, then, and with my track record, it could take much, much longer than before. I don't want that to happen.

Thanks. I've been on it about nine months, I guess, and I first noticed the rash last week.

It's very mild, three small spots on my shins, so I don't have too much to complain about. I don't want it to get out of hand or show up on my feet or hands (esp. under the nails) as it sometimes does. It seems to be drying out.
