I have been the usual prednisone tornado at work and at home - huge list of projects in both places. Some say I saved the company 1.2 mil. They got in a hurry to process my review. Unfortunately this employee money is half what I made as a consultant so their effort to increase my salary is appreciated but what would really have value is a change in title which we are discussing.
Prednisone's effect on the brain sure is interesting but it is really hard on the body so I am going to rapidly taper off now, the RS diet took over after the first week of slowing the transit time and I never saw blood again.
I have learned a lot with 3 quick flares in 12 months after a solid 2 year remission. I think this is the last prednisone taper because this flare would have been easy to avoid.
But this is the one year anniversary in the new house we built and I used the pred to blowout 20 projects I will enjoy for years to come and if the work benefits go the way the look like they will, well it will have lasting effects there too.
Soon bidding farewell to pred - such a mixed bag of good and bad.
