Hi Bananagirl,
I had my food allergen test at Hoffman Center in NYC. It was expensive to see him for my first visit but I think it may be worth in the long run.
I had my IgG food allergen test and INHALANT test done.
Apparently, if I smell some sort of chemical, burning smell, my GUT ACTS UP. Aggravating my IBD!
And there's a way to treat this at Hoffman Center. So I will see what for my next appt.
I'm seeing Dr. Hoffman on the 11th of next month to get my result.
I will read off to you what I tested for below:
Almond, Apple, banana, baker's yeast, barley, beef, buckwheat, cow milk, codfish, crab, chicken, cheddar cheese, carrot, clam, corn, coffee, chocolate, cane sugar, casein, egg white, flounder, green pea, gluten, kidney bean, mushroom, oat, orange, peanut, potato(white), rye, rice(white), spinach, shrimp, salmon, soybean, sweet potato, strawberry, tea, tomato, whey, wheat, and Pork.
And for inhalants:
American Elm, box elder, white ash, white oak, kentucky bluegrass, english plantain, short ragweed, cat, rhizopus nigracans, fusarium oxysporium, johnson grass, cockroach(LOL), wheat, corn, common sage, alternaria tenuis, white birch, bermuda grass, farinae mite, lamb's quarters, dust, dog, penicilin notatum, aspergillus fumigatus, milk, egg whole, soy and codfish.
Well it's going to take some time to see some results, when I get to the point where I'm feeling good and would want to recommend him, I will guide you through. Takes about an hour to drive to NYC for me.
