Got a call from the QuBiologics new treatment in Vancouver

They are planning a U.C. trial this year. They put my name on the list.

I wanted to get on the Chrome's trial, he wanted to but can't because of regulations. The only way to around that is using some compationate humanitarian pleas where you're dying or something.

Apparently, they had a U.C. case like that and now the individual is in remission/cured.

I asked the Doc. Yo, bro! Is dis a remission, or can we call it a cure? Lay out the real deal to me.

He said: Dogg, I can't really promise nothing, but between you and me, you can consider it "time served".

Awwwww yeeeaaahh..

Something like that. Anyways, I'm hoping to get on the upcoming trial.

That is great! I hope you make it onto the study. Site Specific Immunomodulators are a pretty interesting potential treatment option.

Yes, hopefully. I am on the list, hopefully they get the necessary funding. I don't see why they wouldn't.

There's already 8 U.C. people on the list including me. The doc seems nice.

thought Remicade was one of the drugs listed thought that meant we don't qualify???

How do u find all these trials in ur town? Ive asked most of my doctors about studies and they never have any for uc. Plus my c diff would disqualify me from any if there was one.

we were supposed to go to the Caribbean to do this last summer but my daughter was to sick to travel (it was the pretrial). They're having great results so far though the numbers are small. These guys are the real deal (immunollogists/researchers) and spent a lot of their time talking us through it when my daughter was lying in hospital. I hope it goes ahead (UC trial) and it sounds like it's going to. Awesome!

Man, you don't ask the docs, they dont know crap.

You search the internet non stop.

You types: CURE for UC111!!one!!!

Or ask Killcolitis, she seems to know every treatment that exists on the planet. smilewinkgrin

Best of luck to you D O with the double G! I will be watching and waiting..I have a feeling it will work like a charm.

The fact that these trials and these researchers are working hard on solutions makes me feel more at ease..There is hope I guess.

I hope you are able to get into the study Sounds promising - though with all UC treatments, it seems they works for some and never for everyone.

I find it interesting that the head of pediatric gastro at a well known hospital would not have heard of this company nor it's research. I brought it up to him last week.

electro, we brought this to the attention of our Gi, also the head of a "top" ped IBD clinic and a "top" researcher/clinician. She hadn't heard of it either as of last year. For some reason, if it's not a new biologic they don't seem to know?>
