PSC and UC "can" be related. Not all with UC have it, not all with PSC have UC. Which comes first is an interesting question, however.
Fatty liver doesn't cause PSC, but I'm sure one could possibly have it with PSC
Is your fatty liver non-alcohol related? What changes have you made regarding food intake, etc?
Is your cholesterol high?
What exactly are your liver enzyme numbers...not only the one?
I would suggest, however...at this point...that if you are extremely worried, request the doc to send you for an MRCP. It's an MRI for the abdomen that focusses on the biliary system of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas.
What you do NOT want to do is worry yourself about something in which you have no control....but get realllly smart about your blood testing results, the fact that you do have fatty liver (and how the tests relate), and that any invasive tests have extreme side effects that you do not want.
I've been through the PSC scare and possibility of having it since 15 years ago. I do, however, have PBC, but am not clear on the PSC. It matters not...I refuse any invasive testing and continue to have MRCP every so many years...as well as blood testing. I am on URSO and my liver enzymes are perfect. cholesterol is on the higher side, which can be indicative to liver disease. So far...all is good. not to say I'm not fearful for the future...I do feel in control of what not to do.
