I know this is the million dollar question, but what seems to help? I recently got a puppy so my sleep schedule is kind of messed up and with school and anxiety problems I have been stressing, also, don't want to admit it, but my diet has been less than stellar (some pop here and there, some chips, some cake)...
are there any methods you all use to stop a flare before it becomes a big one? right now it's pretty mild... just cramping and loose stools. just started yesterday and even then only had about three bms, one pretty urgent. ( i say only because in my worst flare it was 30+ bms a day). this morning i had one bm of loose stool as well and a little bit of cramping.
what foods are generally good to eat? i ask this because i try to eat healthy, but whole grain and raw veggies make me sick, so i'm scared to eat vegetables all together. it's so hard... also any particular things i can do? i really want to see if i can nip this before i go to my doctor. she's a nice lady but she's so colonoscopy and prednisone happy that i sometimes wish she would try ulterior methods.. sometimes i think you all are the best people to ask!
currently on mezavant, 4 pills once a day, and metamucil, anddd two florastor probiotic tablets a day.
