after 8 years ive solved my problem

I mix one cup of washing soda with one cup of 20 mule borax
Then i grate a bar of dr bronnerss soap in a dish.
After it is grated i mix all the ingrediants in a blender and shake it around a bit so the blender doesnt get jammed up.
I pour the powder in a container with a lid for storage.
It only takes a teaspoon to a tablespoon per load depending on its size and lasts me weeks! The clothes come out clean and i save tons of money without harsh chemicals.
Don't worry about the mixture in the blender, it rinses out easily and leaves the blender very clean.

I didnt want to sound extreme but there wasnt any down side to what ive been doing. If nothing else i'm eating a whloe lot better and a more diverse amount of food in its natural state
Until recently i had no idea how much exposure we had on a daily basis to so much toxicity. Its everywhere and most people either ignore it or dont want to know. My next huge hurdle is to get rid of all my mercury amalgm fillings as they slowly get replaced.

My son is doing the same thing,but his colon has been gone since 2000.
Anyhow eating organic,non gmo,low chemical lifestyle he is much healthier, also all silver/mercury fillings removed. He even goes to meet his cow,prior to slaughter to make sure it was raised humanly, and is organic,and healthy.
For me I am not a fan of the taste of the grass fed meat.

Terrific news dmacell, glad to hear you not only healed yourself with nutrition, but your family as well! No matter who rolls their eyes, you should continue your quest to let people know what helped you. Maybe, one day, people will recognize the sheer stupidity in attacking those who choose to support locally owned farms/businesses, for the sake of economy and the way humans have been doing things up until the 21st century, lol. Suddenly, its not good enough -- I don't know, but things are changing. :)

I wonder if they have anything like door to door organics in Florida. Seems to only be in about 5 states.

Thank you dmacell for this post it is very encouraging. I also am a firm believer that diet has a huge role with this disease. In the past before being dx'd with UC I ate fairly healthy, pretty strict vegetarian diet, but after doing much research from having this disease I am starting to see even though I thought I was putting good things in my body, in reality it wasn't. It really seems that these big corporations are out to minimize the population by feeding us this pesticide, gmo crap. This post has definitely encouraged me to research alot more about eating locally grown non gmo foods. Fortunately also, we live in the great state of TN and have the privilege of having 13 acres of family land and being able to farm, we have always had a garden but my family and me, after seeing this disease and coming to the realization that food plays a big roll in this, will be striving to eat as much non gmo, home grown food that we can. Also, thank you for your ideas and recipes on eliminating toxic cleaners and soaps and such. You are a true blessing and I pray that God will bless you abundantly and will continue to guide you on this path you have started, if you have any more advice or resources on this subject please share! =) Thank you again!
