Amino acid therapy update-continued thread

That makes sense to me a little. Tyrosine I was too bad on by itself, maybe it was the neuroreplete which has the 5htp in it. Also most chronnies are constipated right not so much diarreah like myself, maybe that's why it's listed as helping chrons people?? I don't know, but I don't want to go down that diarreah road again, but I like the energy, it upped my blood pressure so I wasn't feeling faint when I stood up and it helped my aches and pain but with all that goodness, I couldn't deal with the explosions I was having!

I feel like it's been enbedded by Dr. Stein he can cure or get me into remission so I wonder if I'm hindering myself by not continuing because I despretatley want remission!!

What would you do old mike, you obviously stopped but would you do it again with the help of a dr. like Dr. Stein?

Hi Mark, Thanks :) I appreciate your help. I went to lunch with my folks and my mom's friend, whom she has known for years, just told her she has UC and has been on meds for years and finally the past two years hasn't had symptoms. What she said to my mom (they are about 70 years old) that struck me to my core was  "I quit trying to figure out why I have it" and man did that hit home and help me a great deal! I've been trying to figure out why I got UC (was it diet, was it stress, was it because I got food poisoning, was it because I treated people wrong, was it I thought about myself only) for the past 8 years! I've soul searched, called people to tell them I'm sorry for hurting their feelings in any way, supplements, doctors, np, you name it I've tried it.....so now I'm DONE trying to figure out "why me and how come" I'm going to relax a bit and enjoy what I have today.

Also, Old Mike thought maybe the 5htp can cause diarreah, I'm thinking this maybe my trigger too, so if it is, how do I do the supplementation without it, a question for Stein I guess.

I am now taking 3 table spoons of tyrosine. There is a slight improvement in my overall condition but there is still no improvement for my crohn's (3 days in that dosage). Next test will be the fifth one. Maybe I'll be mentioned in the guiness book of records with my tyrosine-consumption:)

The rash in my face has become much better. And I definitely have more energy. Mayby when I'll eat a plate of tyrosine, I'll get healthy. Its indeed quite expensive, but if I think of what I've thrown out in the last five years (around 60000-70000 $), then its not so much. Last year, for example, I spent 10000$ for worm therapies without any success.
I am not a rich person but my situation has been so dramatical for the last five years that I am ready to spend all my money for this therapy. I want to eat smth. different then the f... rice (which has been almost my only food in the last 5 years).

Today is my 20th day of this treatment. I've done one urine test so far. Based on that Dr. Stein reduced my dosage of NeuroReplete from 4 twice a day to 2 twice a day. I’m also taking 2 CysReplete three times a day.

As far as my UC symptoms go I can’t say it’s helped much. I almost started back on pred a few days after starting the treatment but decided that I don’t want to go back on that stuff unless I absolutely have to.

The CysReplete really tears my stomach up. I take it with food but that doesn’t seem to matter. I had a ulcer a couple of years ago and that’s what this pain feels like. Maybe it aggravated the ulcer?

Read this and think about what this therapy amino acid therapy does and how it would/could help adjust or overcome any neurotransmitter imbalance caused perhaps by a virus...

I keep thinking about how much sense this virus thing makes and the odd coincidence to nerves... perhaps colitis may be attributed to a different virus.. or something... who knows, anyway it just makes a lot of sense from a very broad perspective or overview of the symptoms and such. Or at least personally that's what I think.

Six months results of this Amino Acid Therapy.

I won't say cured in any way but have no problem now saying VERY, VERY "controlled". Here are the six month results of this Amino Acid Balancing Therapy:

I seem to be diet dependent:


If I follow SCD/Paleo/Rice Pasta kinda diet along with this Amino Acid Therapy:
(Symptoms)
• Generally very good
• 2-3 formed bowel movements per day (sometimes more sometimes less)
• No Blood
• No Visible or Very Minor Mucus
• No urgency

Add Wheat or Processed Food:
• An increase in a.m. bowel movements
• Usually a bout of afternoon D
• Trace blood
• Mucus
• The difference is the above symptoms by adding wheat and/or processed foods are actually tolerable compared to what it was like before this treatment, or I don’t feel like I did before taking this treatment. I can get through the next day without too much issue. So this is still a little shocking to me. I have basically excepted that I can survive a family gathering or dinner out but the next day is going to be not so great. Also I have on occasion had some fast food without any issue the next day - to much though and things go wonky, like a tipping point or something...

In any case I’m doing quite well.

The results for me are better than any Biologic or med I have taken in the past. Although diet dependent, there's no way I'll stop this therapy at this point. In fact I'm going to invest in two more urine analysis over the the next few weeks and see if I can get it so I can get even better results.


Also I seem to be able to drink milk and have the odd ice cream, sugary snack type thing (like a pecan tart) without any effects though I rarely do this.

Basically I got my life back from this... that's worth every penny...

I wondered the same thing as yes, over time I seem to be able to add more and more with less effect. Kind of like try something, deal with it the next day, stay away for a few days then try a little more and slowly over time there is a bit of a tolerance improvement I think... hard to say exactly. But it appears this is somewhat the case.

I will refrain from posting until I have my scope on Monday. But good days and bad days. Right now I am having a bad day, so I don't want to say anything. I will post my c-scope results after I recover.

Still no results here. My test results are still fluctuating and I have to repeat the test on the same dosage ( 3 table spoons of tyrosine).

Well, ist not that easy for me to find the correct dose because I can't tolerate Vit. C and have to use pure http instead of neuroreplete.

 

Canada Mark I think I might be interested in this, can you post the thread that has the instructions on how to get a hold of the doc.. I cant seem to find it.
