Condition definitely worsening, Apriso to blame?

still struggling, but i have seen solid stool the last couple days, although during the sessions where it's solid it hurts alot to pass :(. sadly i am still seeing some blood and other "stuff".

i see my GI monday, i really don't know what to say anymore.

so GI appt today @ 330.

and of course this is the first day I see a more than marginal improvement. usually when I wake up it's accompanied with discomfort, urgency and blood/mucous. well today i woke up felt fine and went to the bathroom 30 minutes after i woke up. Formed movements, narrow but no blood etc.

I'm still dealing with definite inflammation on the lower parts of my intestines/rectum, so much so that I can feel it. I don't know what the GI should do but I don't want to stand pat on this. I know mesalamines are out of the question, maybe I should ask for some kind of enemas or supps (despite my pure hatred for them, they should be best at tackling the lower inflammation that seems to be my biggest issue right now)

so in another interesting turn, my GI determined I have a fissure. He said it might be causing some of the symptoms I have been complaining about more recently. i wish my stupid digestive track / bum would be more cooperative with the rest of my body.

gi also won't prescribe LDN, sigh. he thinks the next logical step is doubling dose of remicade and possibly going on 20mg prednisone (SIGH, MAJOR SIGH)

I have crohns disease around the ileum and have been taking Pentasa 4 capsules 4 time per day and the Veterans Administration just informed me that they are changing my meds from Pentasa to Apriso 375mg SA. Should I be concerned?
