how many of you start seeing symptoms a few weeks before your next infusion? im 3 weeks away from my next infusion and i had cramps this morning and saw a bit of blood. formed stool though so thats a good thing. i hope it doesnt get any worse!

I had this too. Six weeks after my infusion I had symptoms again. We did the infusions every six week then and I was fine. I used to have them every eight weeks before. Talk to your GI.

If you are seeing symptoms before your next dose of Remi, then you might need to get your infusion every 6 weeks instead of every 8 weeks. That works for some. Best of luck,

yeah i think i will talk to my GI cause if happend after my last infusion too. i guess in the meantime i will tryto control it with enemas and suppositories.

Ya, I had that issue. I now get my infusions every four weeks. Not uncommon apparently.

We jumped right from eight to four... If things start to improve significantly, we're going to slowly decrease the frequency to five... and then six... etc... IF we see that is a possibility.

When I started Remicade every 8 weeks I would see symptoms slowly creep back at weeks 4-5.  I then went to every 6 weeks and that seems to have done the trick.
