Three weeks on Uceris. What to expect

Ok, so I have been on Uceris for about three weeks and really don't see any improvement. Am I looking for healing to happen too soon with it? I know it's typically used for 8 weeks, so shouldn't I be at least half way better. I have read some posts on Uceris and it does seem that it is hit or miss. Hopefully I just need some more time on it.

Right there with you and wondering the same thing. However, I *think* that given the amount of rectal inflamation I have and the fact that my stools are semi-formed... the uceris may be keeping the rest of my colon from going bonkers.

Josh, thanks for the reply. I knew we were both started on the Uceris about the same time. So I may be expecting too much if you aren't seeing huge results yet either. You also started remicide shortly after, didn't you? I'm hoping something happens quickly.

on ueceris for one week. some improvement but have swollen ankles and calves. also have stomach distension and pain. Diarhea is better, but now alternate between feeling contipated and having loose bowels. not sure I should not be back on pregnizone instead of the ueceris. It worked with far less problems
