Exclusive Lactobacillus plantarum 299v source

I am looking for probiotic preparation that exclusively contains Lactobacillus plantarum 299v strain. I foun preparations that contain other strains as well.
Swanson has a preparation but I am not too sure if its 299v strain.

I am going to start kimchi and sauerkraut soon.

This strain has been discussed a lot in literature and I plan to do stool testing with use of this strain exclusively for about a month.

try this link,I took this in the past,did not help me.

If you are going to start kimchi and sauerkraut,need to make sure it is fresh lacto fermented or

homemade,with air excluded.

I got the tin from the store. It was pretty well packed. I don't know how to make it at home (and actually, I am going to eat both for the first time in my life).

@Bella'smom,
I see your son is just diagnosed. Put him on VSL#3 DS (if you can afford it) and Nexabiotic (and Prescript assist, if you can afford). Do not go with one strain probiotics.

And check everyone's signature. Many of us have detailed signatures about our current supplements.

I say I'd never put a child on a probiotics heavy in strep strains. PANDAs/PANs is a *****. I won't even take heavy strep strain s except for 1 oral only probiotic that I rotate and it makes me feel a bit iffy.. But it's been so thoroughly studied I roll the dice. When I was taking vsl I was seeing lots of strep bacteria in my blood where they should not be. I thought it was because my Atistreptolysin titers were high, but the. I ran out of vsl and made the connection. Then I started researching strep strains in probiotics and cases of sepsis.

I did not notice a lot of help from 299.. BUT.. A the point I tried it I don't think anything would have helped. I had to seal my gut before adding probiotics. Before I sealed the gut the probiotics just added to my inflammation.

Could you elaborate more on this strep connection. Me and DS(with Autism) have been taking it for quite a while and we don't really notice any of that sort (or may be I am not looking correctly)..

If you search autism boards you'll find this mentioned a lot. Streptoccoccus thermophillus shouldn't be a problem but for some kids struggling with pans/pandas it is appearing to be. I just see no reason to chance it.
