I do see that now but I have to ask..I do see that they mention this..
CONCLUSIONS:
Patients having psoriasis or ITP treated with Chinese traditional medicine containing Indigo Naturalis have an inclination to colon mucosa lesions, even ischemic lesion. Careful assessment and observation before prescribing are necessary in these patients.
I am wondering if it effects us in different ways considering our conditions..I mean they are talking specifically about
psoriasis or ITP. Could the herb act differently in people with that condition rather than one with UC? It make you wonder because that other study which talked about
those with UC did better on it. I dont think you can rule it out yet Mike because it just may be that if you have either of those formentioned conditions this is what will happen if you use this herb. I mean until we understand how some of these diseases work can we say that this will happen to those with UC like it did to those with psoriasis or ITP? After reading the study with this herb on UC patients it would suggest that it does not have the same detrimental effect as it does on people with ITP or psoriasis. The first sentence in their conclusion says it all. Otherwise the study done on UC patients yeilds much different results.. This study was done this past may..
