Was doing well....

I was doing Hydrocortisone enema at night and Rowasa during the day and I was doing well....able to eat again, feeling "normal", no blood, normal stool in the mornings and then in the last few days, it's all changed. loose stool with blood and pain again. Everytime I eat I have to almost immediately go to the bathroom. Also been getting bad headaches.

Has this happened to anyone before? I have only been on the enema for 3 weeks but Rowasa for the last 2 1/2 months. I was also on Canasa but Dr told me to stop taking it. He also wants me to delay starting the Colozal, which I am thinking I need.

Any advice would help!

Dx with left sided colits 9 years ago....was in remission for almost 4,years without using steroids to get there. Mild flares started end of June....dr put me on Canasa n Rowasa and then started Hydrcortisone 3 weeks ago because of pain and feeling horrible.

I go to the bathroom 3-5x a day...haven't had a scope done in almost 5 years. dr mentioned next summer I would need one. blood work showed low potassium n elevated white blood cell count

Agree w Q! You have what I have, LC and I did well with colizal for a long time, BUT if you are already getting headaches you might get then fr that! BUT everyone is so different.
