Does this happen to anyone? IM 2 weeks after my 5th infusion. My legs are itchy with no rash. After I get out of the shower it's worse. I try putting cream but doesn't really go away. IM wondering if it's just dry skin or the remicade.

It may or may not be related but it's definatley worth mentioning to your doctor. I broke out in hives once from the Remicade but I never experienced just itchy skin.

What part of your legs...lower, upper or all? Both legs?
It could be related, or it could be part of change in clothes, bedding, etc.
What type of lotion are you using?
Is it the area that you're shaving?

My lower legs and feet used to itch like crazy in the shower. I blamed it on steroids. Remicade can make fungal infections easier to catch and harder to get rid of, so I guess it could have been athlete's foot, but I didn't see any flaky skin along with my itchiness. I have had nail problems for the first time in my life since being on Remicade :(

Its almost always were I shave. Lower part and on both legs. I also dont usually use any lotion. I do now since it itches. Almost always in the morning
It happend about
2 weeks after my last infusion
It lasts for about
a week then goes away. My guess is it has to.do with remicade remicade or dry skin. I.don't think.its imfection.cause no fever and there is no bump.or redness anywhere lol except for the redness from scratching

I find that the day after or a few days after my remicade infusions I get a bit itchy as well. There's never any rash but just kinda itchy, almost like there should be a rash. I get it on my hands and arms though. I don't know if this is directly attributed to the remicade but that's the only thing I can think of. But it goes away after a few days too.
I have had 3 remicade infusions so far and it happened at least after the last two.
I'd mention the itchiness to your doctor

I get the itchiness too but on my upper arms. It's really random and seems to mostly strike me at night. I also have no rash, hives etc. I use a cortisone anti-itch cream and it seems to help.

My upper arms were itching as well after a shower. I took some allergy meds and it went away. For the rest of the time on Remicade I was doing fine.
