What are the major grocery stores near you?

I happen to be surrounded by numerous food stores so I have no excuse to not eat what I should eat. Just to name a few within a few miles:

Trader Joe's
Whole Foods
Sprouts
Fry's
Safeway (rarely go there)
Food City (rarely go there)

Whole Foods just went in, and that store alone is a smorgasbord of "food to go" and any epicurean delight you could ever want. I'm not even going to start naming the smaller stores, or specialty food stores, bakeries, health foods stores, etc. because there are too many to mention.

What choices does everyone else have? (I have no excuse!!)

Piggly Wiggly, Food Lion, and Wal-Mart. That's it.

I have to drive ~80 minutes one way for TJ or Whole Foods.

Sucks.

Joes Produce and Westborn Market - produce market

I have a Traders Joe here but it's not really close.

Wegmans, TOPS, Aldi's, Walmart & Save-a-Lot

Traders Joe's is about an hour away but will be moving to my area in about a month! I can't believe I get excited about grocery shopping.

these are all within 5 miles, there are also a lot of smaller markets that are not quite grocery stores...

Wegmans, tops, my local co-op and in a week, trader joe's. I wish we had a whole foods...

One choice - privately held HEB Food Stores. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods both are 45 minutes away..

Stop & Shop, Shaw's, Trader Joe's, Market Basket. There are plans to open a Whole Foods sometime in 2014. I'm not a huge fan of Whole Foods, to be honest. Or Trader Joe's. Too crowded, too expensive, a lot of the stuff is processed & not as "farm fresh" as they'd like the consumer to think.

we have giant eagle, trader joe's and fresh market. I go to whole foods like twice a year because it's such a hike to get out there. i went a week ago on my birthday to get beef short ribs!!!! it was the PERFECT bday dinner. i pigged out.

We're within spitting distance of Whole Foods. There's a Star Market (Shaws) on the way home, but I hate it there. Sometimes, when I'm renting a Zipcar, I'll go to Stop and Shop. Every few months, I go to Trader Joe's, which isn't far away, but is less convenient on public transit.

I would live in Trader Joe's, given the opportunity.

Wegman's is my main jam. I'd be lost without all their foods. Living in Buffalo, there's a lot of options, but none that are as healthy or cheap as Wegman's.

Harris Teeter
Super Target (has groceries)
Food Lion
Bi-Lo

Trader Joe's
Earth Fare
Fresh Market

In the next 6 months a Publix and a Whole Foods are opening

Shoprite (Order most of my stuff online from them)
Trader Joe's (not that close but will make a trip every few months)
Top Tomate (close to me and occasionally will shop there)
Montalbano's (close and has a lot of italian specialities)

I feel like I'm the only one in the Midwest as I don't recognize alot of those stores!
