Quick update - On about
week three now close to four.
No blood whatsoever
No mucus whatsoever
6-7 lb weight gain (approx 2lbs/week) since starting - never been able to gain weight in the past.
No urgency till just a bit before I have to go. Which I assume is like normal people, haha. But can hold it for a long time if need be now. Specially when out. Heck I held it off for about
5 hours the other day. Never done that before.
Once or twice per day - not always perfect but generally better than ever before. Pretty much always formed now. Depends a little on what I eat it seams though. To much of certain things and it loosens. Or to much probiotics cause the same.
Again: I have Crohn's Colitis so it may be effecting me differently than UC.
Not 100% but close. I'm going to continue this for a longer term with my Gi monitoring bloodwork weekly (blood work is fine so far and no liver issues or anything). Another few weeks at least. My approach is to treat this as a bacterial infection via long term antibiotics ( or similar to what they call triple antibiotic therapy) and see what success I get out if it. Either I myself (by noticing discomfort or dramatic worsening of symptoms or better yet full relief of symptoms) or my Gi via blood work and monitoring will know when to stop.
So WOO/Thyme Oil Capsule - 3 per day
Reuteri (via Primadophilis Reuteri Brand) 2-3 times per day specially just before going to sleep.
All organic and no preservative diet as best I can
Added over the last week:
Renew Life Ultimate Flora 100 Billion - Specifically for the Planaterum (iffy on the bifo but seems to be ok) before going to sleep.
Normal Yogurt (Plain Balkan Style) and Kefir Milk
Cinnamon Oil and Cinnamon/Clove Tea once per day - Similar to traditional triple Antibiotic therapy
Small glass or 1 cup (250ml) of 100% not from concentrate Cranberry juice in am and pm - (blocks bacterial adhesion supposedly)
I think that's it really.
Current Meds: Tapering on pred and at 25mg/daily now and Imuran 150 mg/daily
See how the next week or so goes I guess.... Usually things start to get bad when I get down to 20mg Pred. (pred dependent)
