My GI told me never to expect to see 'normal' bms again, once I acquired uc. I have mostly solid bms but they don't look like they did before I had uc.

Some achieve remission others do not. It is all a matter of how well you respond to treatment. Some, like myself, respond partially to the drugs. I get 80% of the way there but never 100% of the way.

Everyone is different and how they respond to medications, how severe their UC is etc. There is no magic ball that will tell us when we will hit remission unfortunately.

I have normal looking stools even while flaring, this disease is absolutely disgusting and crazy. Having normal looking stools is not an indication alone of whether a person is flaring or not, too many things factor in when it comes to IBD.

When prednisone put me in remission my stool went back to how it was pre-UC
