CC Herbal

I have been having my blood checked every two weeks since I started 6mp two months ago. about four weeks ago my creatinine serum levels started to spike, indicating kidney stress. What was causing it was unclear, but when I told the nephrologist I was taking cc herbal he told me to stop taking it immediately, that supplements from china are not to be trusted, that he does see them cause kidney problems. You just have no idea what you are getting or how it was manufactured and a lot of tainted supplements come out of china.
Turns out my problem was not caused by the cc herbal, but he insists I do not take it. Just as an FYI, it was determined that either the Lialda I was taking or the creatine I was also taking was the problem. I stopped both and my levels corrected. The doc thought it was the Lialda but to make sure I started taking the creatine again and my levels went back up. So looks like it was the creatine, which is known to cause a false positive on the creatinine serum test. I'll know for sure next week if my levels are back to normal, and assuming so, I'll go back on Lialda.

  I have been taking CC since June with great success.  As I have said before, I think three pills a day is

a little much.  I went to two without a problem and now just 1 every other day.  With three a day I had

a taste in my mouth I did not like.  My GI thought if a problem would occur it would be with the liver. 

So if your son has any of the classic Statin drug symtoms I would stop the CC immediately.

  I cannot take Statins because my liver does not like them at all.  I'm the 1 in 100,000 or so who react

to them.  So logic tells me if my liver can tolerate the CC then it must not be too bad.  But always be aware

of any changes that may occur and stop immediately.
