The minute I lay down...

Is when the machine gun farts start!  I am fine all day with gas, but the minute I lie down to go to sleep, I have unbelievable gas! It lasts for about a half hour then dissipates. I know I should count my lucky stars I can fart so frequently and freely    Anybody else have this happen right before bedtime?

Turtlepower, just tilt me and I fart. I am fine all day long until I lay down on the couch to watch tv in the evening, and then fart, fart, and fart. Same when I lay down to go to bed a few hours later and I just wonder how there can be so much of it. I find it quite amusing; my wife not so much.

Just be glad you can fart; as many here who cannot, at least without 1st sitting on the toilet bowl to make sure it really is just a fart.

I tend to be very gassy first thing in the morning and at bedtime too. Lucky for me also that a fart is just a fart.

I gladly fart now. Lol. I have not been able to safely fart for probably 8 months. I figure being able to fart is progress. :)

Ha! mine are not farts, but I have noticed when I lay down or change position or roll over or anything I tend to have to get up and go and as soon as I come back to bed have to get up and go again! about a week ago I started sleeping sitting up, hospital bed style as my mom called it, & I have actually worked well I think maybe there's something about the top half of my body lying down that sets it off. I've been having major flare for months and this has really helped me with being able to sleep longer, I still get up a couple times in the night back and forth but is definitely better than every half an hour to an hour like I was doing!
