Thanks for the feedback. I will check the first thread and see if I can find good suggestions. I feel like these supplement companies can say something is whatever they want and you really never know... hopefully i can find something decent.

there may be others that are just as good but that's the one that's posted. SOme people are taking it with water, others are makign their own capsules with #3 size capsules.

I can't get that brand in the US and shipping is $20 from Canada. Boohoo. Nothing like it is sold in US that I can find.

I read the ncbi paper again and apparently the ratio of thyme oil:oregano oil is 2 parts thyme oil to one part oregano oil. Interesting. Of course I can't figure out what dosage is right for a human since they did the experiment on little mice and specifically said that the medium dose was juuuuust right. That it's not good to take too much (toxicity problem) and not good to take too little (ineffective).

So I'll get some thyme oil and add it to the oregano oil I have.

I have been doing great with WOO as well. I had my annual checkup today with my primary care doctor and she was blown away by how quiet my bowels are now.
I just finished tapering off cortenema (used it last on Wednesday) so I am hoping WOO is helping keep things stable. I would also say I am not 100% back it normal but I don't have any blood or mucus at all. Now if I could just shake this cold I have had for the past week...

I am getting a blood test this morning, which will help determine when I stop. I have been using it for two weeks now and I think if my blood work is good I will go another week at least.

I've ordered the Orega Supreme gelcaps from Canada (found a place with cheaper shipping) because I'm having problems getting the WOO dose right, thyme oil seems gentler than the WOO. about once a week my colon goes into IBS mode after the thyme/oregano oil combo but I think it's beneficial enough to try the gelcaps for a more controlled dose.

2 weeks of Reuterii Pearls=no problems at all for me.

@Dan... Lemon had a bad response upon stopping and has since returned. I may in the near future as well.

Update on my WOO/Thyme

Well - I have lost count of the weeks so far on this - but here's the short and skinny.

I've dropped all the way down to 5/mg Daily Prednisone and still on 150/mg daily Immuran along with WOO/Thyme Oil three times daily.

No issues so far liver count wise and such
Don't remember the last time I saw blood
Have no urgency anymore. Pretty much always solid stool as well
Still intolerant to wheat

The only thing that has crept back is some minor mucus now and then, but it's minor.. and somewhat rare. I'll see how things are two weeks from now once I drop the Pred alltogether.

For now I'm going to remain at the WOO/Thyme three times daily.

Not sure what else to report. It has made a dramatic difference though, that's for sure. Even my strength has come back quite a bit.

Activated b vitamins, biotin and enzymes.

I decided to keep going with the WOO/Thyme Oil as I am seeing some pretty good success now. I added a scoop of Bob's Potato Starch in the morning and in the evening and probiotics. Still not perfect, but quite well.

I take 1 capusle 3 times a day of WOO/Thyme oil. The addition of RS to this made a big change. I go once or twice per day. Mostly solid and and zero urgency or blood. Dropping off pred did however bring back some mucus, but it's minor and sometimes non at all. Seems the longer I stay on this the better it's getting.

I have to say, I'm getting close to ruling this better than Remicade for me as there have been no side effects that I can think of.

Again, I have Crohn's Colitis and recall not many with straight out UC seeing benefit. Then again, perhaps its more of a time thing or patience. Sucks as I wish others would see similar success.

OH - And I eat mostly SCD with Potato Starch added as mentioned above - but the other day I had a Double Burger with bacon and cheese and a poutine from a fast food joint with zero issue. In fact I pooped great the next day. Haven't ate like that since though and probably won't for a while. But was a nice treat.

I'm still tinkering with the Orega capsules. Had some mornings where BM # was too many, 4-5 not 1-2. So I had to determine whether it was the Reuterii Pearls or the Oregano caps causing this. It was the Oregano, specifically the timing of when I take it (I just take 1/day).

I had been taking one Reuterii in the AM and one Oregano cap in the PM after dinner. So I've switched them to opposite times and that seems to do it. The Oregano cap is the thing that can cause IBS symptoms for me, no troubles with the Reuterii Pearls. Quiet stomach and back to fewer BM's.

I have left-sided colitis, never heard a hint of Crohn's.
