There are a few different ways to test for candida as well as indicators.
www.yeastinfectionadvisor.com/candidatests.htmlhere is a good breakdown. I do want to add a fairly easy Labcorp test, Plasma/Serum Ammonia. Various pathogens, yeast being the biggest culprit usually, elevate this number and paired with some other things like low iron, symptoms of candida, low immune function etc. are very good indicators of some kind of yeast issue.
The problem here is it isnt always Candida. There are lots of yeasts and they have been largely ignored until recently, so the studies are behind those done on bacteria. Way behind those done on pharmaceuticals ;)
So, what does it mean to have systemic fungal issues? It means HOPE ;) Everything in your signature can be linked to yeast over growth. But go get some labs done. When we can see the issue instead of just match up a vague (and very comprehensive) symptom chart through concrete lab numbers, it helps. Try the anti candida diet, an rx antifungal like nystatin.. for a couple months. This is the other problem. People need to take things for much longer then most mainstream docs prescribe for. I bet youll feel a very big change in 2 months. Within a year you could be adding food back to your diet and feeling better then you have in years.
