starting humira in january !!

so i was on remicade and had to many side effects, so GI just called and next on the ending list is humira !

anyone else on this medication?
anyone try and had side effects?

I have been on humira since Oct 2nd. After my first few injections I was still feeling crappy. I ended up in the hospital. Found out I had c-diff. Once that cleared up I have been feeling great. I feel better now then I have in years. I have a severe case of crohns.

i tried humira but got c diff very soon after (days within the loading dose). i never took the other injections because i was so sick from the c diff for about 6 months.

ho is it just because the immune system being compromised from the meds? :(

I was on humira for 10 months, never stopped the diarrhea. But it did cause my immune system to go haywire!
I am on my 4th UTI infection,and another course of antibiotics .
That makes my UC worse
My GI doing a flex sigmoidoscopy Jan 3rd so for now I am off the Humira turn

I've been on humira for 6 weeks and it definitely seems to be helping. My poop is formed and even solid sometimes. It's still a process but within a couple of days of my loading dose I felt better as far as pain and nausea and soon after the urgency stopped. I still have a day or two here or there where I don't feel good but overall much improved. I think enemas would clear up the symptoms I have left...still have wicked nasty smelling gas which my wife LOVES (riiighhtttttt)

I've been on Humira for a few years now (maybe four?).
It wasn't kicking it for the first few months so I started a Gluten Free diet and have been in remission ever since.

I've been on Humira for about a year and a half. Things are better . I take it weekly. Wish you could bump up the amount . Like two shots a week. It loses it effectiveness . Was doing great when I went to weekly. Now not as great. Using the rectal meds to get it back in control.
