OM, could be the sulfites.. either way, I will not be repeating that exercise. It ended up working its way through, but it brought back memories of times I dont wish to return to. Ill give the healing some more time.

Pathogenkiller It is so nice to hear that you are doing so well. Not only with the UC but with the Fibro and other ailments as well.
I am still rather new to this and was wondering if anyone ever got better and how they defined that.
I just got somewhat good news from the doc's office. After being on remicade since April, and just having had a colonoscopy, he said I am healing nicely. Wouldn't go so far as to say remission. Latest bloodwork was still abnormal in many respects and I really do not feel all that well just yet - fatigue, nausea, GERD, lower back pain and constipation. But no d or bleeding since August and the gurgling sounds and urgency are less frequent.
Would you mind sharing your experience as to how you got better and how long before you got normal blood tests, started to absorb nutrients and got some energy? I too have fibro and a number of other ailments, and often wonder if they are not all somehow related.
Merry christmas to you.
oh man, happyday, that would be a long post. But I have chronicaled alot of the last year here on HealingWell. I started to write a series on yeasts and biofilms and pathogens and then.. well, to be honest decided to just put it up on the site ive been working on because I dont feel like arguing with anyone about
my experience. I just wanna share it. It's my goal to finish it by the summer.
My synopsis is that Ive been sick since I was young, got a whole bunch of other dxes too.. gave up pretty much.. went on restricted diets, healed kinda sorta.. but then finally found a great doctor who had the smarts to figure out the following instrumental things for me
1. I have several genetic polymorphisms indicating issues at various points in my methylation cycle. I also have some mitochondrial polymorphisms that are something Im supplementing for with great success.
2. I have lyme, mycoplasma pneumonia, high antistreptolysin o titers, high saphrophytic fungi and alot of gut dysbiosis including high mycoplasma spp.
3. I was way too sick in the beginning for pharmaceuticals.
my labs did a 180 within 6 months of treating 1 and 2.
I was walking/ jogging 10 miles a week but then I crashed because I stressed my very fragile adrenals and eveerything kinda collapsed with the help of a 12 week ear infection. My guts been fine, but my energy went back down while we were resolving that. Now im 3 months into energy and awesomeness again. All tummy issues are gone, knock on wood and Praise God!
Its kind of weird. Im so used to being sick, it's an adjustment to be well.
