Raclette sounds really yummy. I've always liked toasted cheese but never combined it with potatoes. Must do soon. I looked up google and it says it's a Swiss idea, sounds similar to fondue but roasting cheese not melting it I guess is the diff.

Yes, it's served in Switzerland & France during the chilly months. DARN IT IS GOOD.

Ah ok....that sounds delicious! Too bad I can't eat pickles :( Perhaps I can try it without them?

i like cornichions too. Some people call them gerkins. I personally don't like the word gerkin, it's ugly. I had a veggie burger and a beet salad for xmas dinner. Not very festive :(

I looked up Raclette. Is it a recipe or a cooking vessel or a type of cheese? I found a few recipes and they were all different...

I'm not even going to say what I ate because I don't want to get scolded by the food police. Suffice it to say I had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed it immensely.
