Sore Throat/Swollen Lymph Nodes

Recently I was pretty sick with fever for a day or two and a very sore throat. The fever went away but the sore throat stayed. Then sore throat went away for a few day and I had my Remi infusion. Next day sore throat came back crazy at me. I was pretty much screaming when swallowing. With the throat though my lymph nodes started to hurt alot and were very swollen. I was psyching myself out because I though I had lymphoma or something because of Remi?. Anywho I'm seeing my fam. doctor next week but my sore throat is already gone, my lymph nodes are still kind of sore though not hurting anymore.

Thoughts? Is it normal for lymph nodes to do this with a sore throat?

When i was little i would get swollen nodes with a sore throat. i haven't had one lately luckily. I wouldn't get worried, go get checked out, you may have strep or just a cold.

Yup, that's what having strep throat feels like for me, but without getting it treated I don't know if the sore throat goes away on it's own or not cuz I've always gotten antibiotics for my strep throat...strep can be very serious if not treated, it can affect your heart.

Swollen lymph nodes happens to me pretty much every time I get sick. They swell in my groin too.
