Well pb4 and I had our colonoscopy today aren't we lucky. Mine showed 25-30 cm of inflamation. He said that's why I have so much urgency . Oh well!!!! Starting Siimponi tomorrow . Hope it helps!!!!

I hope it helps too! I need to have a scope soon, not looking forward to it - and i've been having some symptoms which sucks...

Notsosicklygirl, this results was with taking Humira weekly. Been practicing with the auto inject sample they gave me. Better work!!!!! Sucks big time I know:(

Hi Sherry, lots of urgency,little blood not much. Everytime I eat I seem to have to go to the bathroom. Loose stools and cramps. If Simponi doesn't work ,which I hope it does I'll try something else. No more pred for me. Been living on dicyclomine these days.

Quincy. This was also with using mesalamine enemas daily. I guess it could have been worse. Said he saw scaring further up.

Never had where my intestines feel like they were punched . So sore. Had the scope at 7am. Not even hungry!

Wow, not even hungry? It can take a few days for things to feel more "normal" after all the air is out and the possible spasming to stop. No wonder you're on a constant dicyclomine intake..

when flaring, I've taken it 4x daily....
Have you tried Tylenol?

I've never taken anything other than that for pain in the guts....

A rest on the couch/bed watching TV and a warmed microwave bag helps a lot too.

Is it all throughout or just on the left side?
Do you have lots of gas still?

g, left side mostly. Little gas.
Going to take Tylenol now. Don't think the prep I had was great. Says on my papers that I had suboptimal bowl prep. Could not see if I had any polyps hum!!!!! That's not good

I posted about my C-scope on Quincy's thread asking me about it....all my details are there...I apparently don't even have inflammation and I still have severe urgency and frequency (which I will be discussing with my GI when I see him again) I'd really love to hear the explanation for that from him.

Sorry Faith, I wish you'd gotten better news, looks like bottom line, we're still in the same sinking ship.

Thanks...and apparently Pluto clarified for me that I actually do have inflammation...got confused cuz GI wrote on the report "severe ulceration" which made me think ulcers but it's inflammation...wish they'd be more general for us patients instead of confusing us lol.

Sherry, all sorts of bad stuff. don't even want to think about it. frequency, cramps... all happened when i got that stupid cold.

I had mine yesterday as well. The results were as expected; good news and bad news.

The good news was my UC hasn't progressed beyond my sigmoid and there were no polyps. The bad news; I still have UC! ;(

That's great wodin!! So you're still having symptoms with your UC or you mean that because UC is a chronic illness you "still have UC"?

Have quite a bit of discomfort since the scope on Tuesday . Left side is really bothering me. GI office called to see how I was doing. Told the nurse about my concerns. She said it I still had pain tomorrow call the office. Never had this before.
pb4 , you having any pain or discomfort?

Nope just felt a little weak since I got up and a little dizzy (guessing from not eating enough, IDK) and a little vaginal/rectum discomfort when going poop...I had a good hot epsom salt bath too so maybe that helped with not having any really bothersome issues.

I hope it's nothing Faithmac, keep an eye on it and don't hesitate to go to the ER if it gets worse.

faith....I haven't been able to get on the site for long periods, missed this post. g looks like a q..lol.

What exactly was the prep you used....and it's disheartening that the doc didn't see if there were any polyps. Will he be setting you up for another scope? Perish the thought.

Hope your pain's subsided....how are you doing today?
