Flex sig questions

As my follow up flex sigmoidoscopy date fast approaches I have a few questions. My instructions say to take laxative pills the night before, ok, no prob. Then the morning of I am to take 1 enema 2 hours before procedure and 1 enema 1 hour before procedure....then, in the next paragraph it tells my my appointment time and to check in 1 hour before test time. So...do I do both enemas at home or what? Do I check in an hour before my test time and then say, 'scuse me, where do I go to insert my butt meds???? I swear, I'd rather drink the jug of crap juice and poop my guts out the night before in the privacy of my own home (as in colonoscopy prep).

I never have prep for a flex sig, just an enema after I get to the office :-/

No prep for the last one either. If you are "clean" they get a better view, but I would not do an enema in the docs office, nor do two in a row that close to an appointment!How will you even sit in a car? Call for clarification....something's goofy.

I've always had to do two enemas at home before a flex sig - never had to do laxatives the night before. They really don't go in very far, I am surprised they are having you do such a prep.

The enemas are no biggie. Sometimes the instructions say to hold them in for 15 minutes. I've never been able to hold those fleets in for more than a few seconds...
