i have been having a flare up with my colitis for about 2-3 weeks now. I have diarrhea, blood, blood clots, mucus, and gas! I hate it! And it's always worst in the morning! What are specific meals that you guys eat for all three meals and for snacks when you are flaring? I'm on prednisone, which makes me feel super hungry all the time. And the past few weeks I have been basically living off of oatmeal, bananas, apple sauce, soup, and scrambled eggs. I have also been drinking about 3 bottles of water and a power aid everyday to keep me hydrated! What are some other things that you eat when you are flaring? I know what foods to avoid! I just need some new fresh ideas on meals and snacks that won't make me feel worse!
Also, do you find that working out helps you get over your flare up or does it make it worse? The other day I was very active, and my next bm the next day was better than it had been for weeks! What are your opinions on this?
