Help: Forgot to take my Predinsolone earlier!

OK, I just took 5 of the 7 tablets and just ate a bananna as I didnt want to take it on an empty stomach. I guess I'll probably take the other 2 tablets in a minute, but I am a bit worried in that I was planning on going to bed in a minute. I guess I'll have to take it all though? The info leaflet that comes with the tablets just says to take as soon as you remember but never two doses at the same time. I just wonder if the advice might be different if you were in my shoes, about to go to bed.
I'm in the UK and it's 3am here (normal for me to go to bed about half an hour ago). Difficult to get hold of a doc given the time.

Maybe I'll leave it at 5 then...5 is better than none and close enough to my normal dose that my body woudln't be like, "Where is the rest?!" but not as bad as 7 is what I was thinking...I am so tired too, I really want to be able to sleep in a minute.

It's always best to take it all at once as soon as you remember (this is yet another reason why I strongly disagree with docs that tell their patients to split their daily doses), the worst thing to do is take none at all for a whole day, it won't kill you but it affects your adrenal system which is why you can never stop pred cold turkey...one day taking it late is livable but missing a few days or so can be life threatening. I'd take all of them myself but as long as you're taking the majority of them you'll be fine.

Canada Mark, I did that all the time until I discovered these little pill boxes at walmart. They have a box for every day for morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. I just fill them all up on Sunday then I never have to second guess if I've taken my meds or not!

Did you take all of them or just the 5 like you initially said you'd take?
