Thanks for starting this thread and re-
opening the conversation. I, too, am about
to start taking the Qing Dai powder. I was surprised by the post that mentioned that the herb could have sulfur in it. That made me start to wonder about
the purity of what I have. I just looked up online and found another pharmacy that sells it and they specifically say "sulfur-free". That's the Kamwo pharmacy and they look far more reputable (with a lot more information on their website) than the Acupuncture Atlanta site we have all be using. For $13, I think it might be worth my just ordering a new batch from them.

ingesting the powder, I think that you can just sprinkle it into food and you won't taste it too much. I was thinking something like chocolate pudding... not that I should be eating that. :)
I suppose you could put it in blueberry yogurt and then you won't notice that it's turning your food blue!
about
the duration of taking it -- in the study that was published in fall of 2013, the 9 participants were studied for 4 months taking 2 g per day. The study didn't say whether the participants continued on it after the 4 month study since they were (nearly all) much improved.
The study also said that a couple people reported headaches and that they reduced their dose by half to address that.
I also found some information online that suggested that the dose should be based on your weight. The bottle says "one teaspoon, three times a day" and I think that in addition to starting low, I'll likely keep to two times a day since I'm a smaller person.
I hope everyone who is trying this experiment continues to post periodically with their results. Thanks!
