Recently I had to take a round of antibiotics . It was Cephalexin (generic for Keflex ) . It hasn't been a real problem yet , I'm on day seven of seven . I am wondering what antibiotics you think bothers your colon the least but is still effective. I know that some are better for different problems or infections . But which ones do you think bother your colon the least and still are effective for you ?

My ole standby is the Z-pack (Azthromyacin -sp?). Any other antibiotic kills my gut, including Keflex. Cipro is my enemy *hiss*....makes me literally pee out of my tush.

Thanks Sherry for your reply . I think Keflex has been detrimental to my condition in the past . Hope I skate by this time . Jim
