Yes. Me too. I had just gotten off Lialda, and I was having problems with my symptoms returning. Since stopping my acne medication (a combo of Retin-A and Benzoyl Peroxide), my poo has been getting firmer and bigger and I'm going less, about twice a day now.

My acne is getting worse though... I have an appointment to see my dermatologist April 12. I think I can wait until then.

I know this thread is way old, but I can relate to the diarrhea from the benzoyl peroxide. Started using it two weeks ago and that's when my stomach started bothering me... Definitely stopping it. I was using proactiv with 2.5% by the way.

Interesting! I've got to process this, I've used benzoyl peroxide in stuff for acne, some strong Rx stuff. Recently there was a thread about accutane and tetracycline meds ..... Hmmmmmmm

This is the weirdest thing I've ever heard of. I use benzoyl peroxide 2-3 times a day on my face. I've only been using it since I was diagnosed, since I never had skin problems, until steroids, but I've never had any side effects like that. I wash my face morning and night, and have a liquid version I use too.

It's been a little over a week and stomach isn't back to normal still...
