abdominal/diarrhea pain

Does yours happen when you eat something bad, and does it come with feeling a bit of nausea?

I don't generally experience much diarrhea with my UC to be honest, but when I do eat something bad, I have some abdominal pain, and a bit of nausea that goes away when the abdominal pain goes away. Is this "normal"? (normal as in UC normal)

thanks Katie. Ive only started experiencing this over the last year. Luckily my UC, since starting off as UP has been pretty mild for the most part since my initial diagnosis, so all of these new symptoms Ive been experiencing over the last year got me worried. I know it started to progress to UC (although it's still undetermined whether I actually have crohnes or UC because mine is patchy, but still very mild inflammation thankfully). I really should listen to those pains because if Im going to have this annoying condition for the rest of my life, I want to make sure it stays as mild as I can possibly keep it during flareups.
