I received the following notice this morning about my order for AOR ProBiotic 3 (ProBiotic 3 Research Information).

Unfortunately, the Probiotic-3 is unavailable from AOR at this time. AOR is trying to receive a NPN for this product from Health Canada and this process could take several months.


Does anyone know how to track down some information related to why it has been pulled from the market?

Been trying to get my hands on the mother ****er as well, but seems too late now.

I blame Richard Nikoley. Dude is packing some serious heat and needs to simmer down with his "cures". ;)

never heard of this probiotic is it better than vsl #3 ds for ulcerative colitis.

I don't know if it is better for ulcerative colitis than vsl #3 ds.

The reason that I was interested in it is that it sounded like the bacteria would actually populate the gut rather than have to be taken forever.

It was a while ago but my best recollection is that I didn't see an effect. The amounts are pretty low though. It might be interesting to try higher amounts especially of the C butyricum which produces butyrate.
