Sorry to have to welcome you, UC can be a butt kicker most of the time. At least we know that there isn't anything tougher than yourself to kick your arse? :)
The vomiting, when this happens, do you have any pains in the stomach region?
For anemia, how do you tolerate liquid iron or the tablets? I take yellow dock root supplement for it 3x a day but you have to be careful of high liver enzymes. Secondly, when/if you can tolerate vegetables, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and collard greens are some greens that contain iron.
Next step would be other mesalamines such as Asacol HD, Lialda, etc. I'm not sure how far your inflammation is but for me, the working regimen medicine wise is Asacol HD 6 pills a day, mesalamine enema and Uceris (which is a steriod like Prednisone but coated differently).
No advice on the constipation. Maybe a minor blockage?
