Hi,
I recently had a pretty bad flare which was complicated by an episode of pancreatitis , which I think was related to medication I was taking . My blood work was not great CRP was 25 and normally would be 1 or 2 , platelets were very high , WBC very high . I have since been on 30 mg of prednisone, and cortifoam twice daily . I'm feeling much better and go only once or twice daily . I just had a blood test , and my platelet levels are normal, but my WBC is even higher then before . Does anyone know if that is because I still have inflammation or due to the prednisone I'm on . Do the blood tests really tell what's going on ? Would appreciate any advice . Thanks
