On Uceris now, who has it helped?

Hi! I'm on Uceris because I'm not in full remission or anything just doing a lot better, then I have in years!My doc said regular pred is not good long term and to give Uceris a try.

I don't know if I need it because I'm not bleeding much at all but my doc wants me to heal as much as in can.

I take Lialda, Metamucil ad lexapro for anxiety all this seems to really help!!
I'm going on vacation in 25 days so I wanted to feel really good and comfortable by then, that's why I'm trying Uceris,
How long until you saw results?

Pairing it with my rectals, it put me in a remission, at least from mucus, D and bleeding within 3 days (72 hours). I still had some pains from gas for a little while longer but it cleared up exceptionally quick.

Noticed your sig but, remicade helped me for a short while. It got to a point where the symptoms would return close to the next infusion and then symptoms wouldn't leave. But since Uceris and the rectals, I felt the best. I also take asacol HD.

I had to go on it bcause of liver toxicity with 6mp last month. Got D when I stopped 6mp. No blood or mucus at that time.

Noticed a big difference overnite and has been awesome since. Hope to stay on it until I start Remi soon. Supposed to only use Uceris for 2 months, my GI said.

It'd be great if this would be a permanent replacement for pred for all sufferers.

HAD A BAD FLARE, TRIED IT OUT FOR A MONTH, DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME. HOPE IT HAS HELPED OTHERS.

I saw results after 2-3 weeks. Uceris isn't long-term either. But it helped me along with Imuran to gain remission. Hope you feel well on your vacation.

Helped me while I was on the drug, but symptoms began returning once I stopped. In fact, the disease spread from 30cm to my entire colon (although, the inflammation was reduced). Good luck. I hope it works better for you!

I saw results in a few days with Uceris. It didn't get me back to 100% right away like pred but it has kept me feeling pretty good, going once or twice a day, no crazy urgency, no more gas... i can't complain.
