antihistamines and proctitis

hi all,
i was wondering,

do (or might) antihistamines affect proctitis? suddenly dawned on me that they might. i take one every night for my dust mite allergy so i don't wake up sniffling, but these are drying to the skin.

I've never really heard of that so I guess you'll be the best judge. When researching UC several years ago I came upon some people who try treating their UC with antihistamines. Don't know how successful they were.

Nope I take 4 different ones and they don't affect my UC at all.
